24(현지시간) 터키 동부에서 규모 6.7 강진이 발생해 최소 15명 사망하고 500명 이상 다쳤다고 CNN이 현지 관계자들을 인용해 보도했다.

터키 엘라지그주의 시브리체를 강타한 지진으로 건물 10채가 붕괴됐으며 구조 작업이 진행되고 있다고 술리만 솔류 내무장관이 밝혔다.

또 여진이 15회 발생했으며 이중 가장 강한 것은 규모 5.4로 기록됐다.


이번 지진은 멀리 레바논과 이라크, 시리아에서도 느낄 수 있었다고 CNN은 전했다.
