AP통신 등 현지 언론들은 제임스의 고향인 미국 오하이오주 아콘에 세워지는 박물관은 제임스의 성장 과정을 주제로 다양한 아이템을 소장하고 있다고 10일 전했다.
이 박물관은 제임스가 어린 시절 자랐던 아파트를 개조해 만들었다. 2003년 NBA 신인 드래프트 때 입은 하얀색 정장, 고등학교 시절 사용했던 농구 백보드와 림 등이 전시된다.
12월에 만 39세가 되는 제임스는 네차례 챔피언 반지를 끼었고, NBA 정규리그 통산 득점 1위를 달리고 있다.
